Nah, he is a number 3. even when he was young and in his prime he was a fringe number 2 but better number 3. he doesn't really change much.

I guess it depends on who we sign/draft, lol. Desean wants the $ - don't know if we can swing that one. But it would sure be nice, if we could.

Djax has never played through a contract, even admitted a few years ago that he had a down year cause he was not motivated to do well because he had not gotten the contract extension he wanted. he wants his money and if you are in a bind he will not restructure or anything like that. so I dunno. I wouldn't do it. its fine to want your money but he a bit divaish of the field when it comes to his contract. he already has a high cap and salary and he already said he wants more.

March 18, 2014 Signed TE Mike McNeill to a two-year contract.
March 20, 2014 Signed WR Jerricho Cotchery to a two-year contract.
March 18, 2014 Signed S Roman Harper to a two-year contract.
April 10, 2014 Signed S Thomas DeCoud to a two-year contract and TE Ed Dickson to a one-year contract.
April 9, 2014 Re-signed DT Colin Cole to a one-year contract.
April 7, 2014 Signed WR Jason Avant to a one-year contract.
Ok, Cotchery and Avant are both 30+, but I think we'll get something out of at least one of 'em. I was a little surprised that JC got a 2-year. Still think we'll be taking a wideout at r1 or r2. The Harper signing is controversial, in that he targeted Cam with the Saints - but he may be one of those guys you hate, until he's on your team laying the wood. Still, it sucked losing Mitchell, 'cause I felt like he was on his way up. I'm fine with the DeCoud signing.
