Mike Jones:

The deal now structured in a way that gives Washington flexibility to cut Hall if he doesn't reach full of recovery from Achilles surgery.

Michael Phillips:

D-Hall restructuring smart for both sides. Skins don't have to commit, and Hall can still make more than he would get on the open market.

Maybe I'm just not getting the full measure of this new deal......I can clearly see what the benefits are for Washington going forward, but for the life of me where's the benefit for Hall........a little help someone, anyone. Thanks!

That pretty much sums it up, there's more to this in terms of his health or desire to make a full comeback here. Otherwise why would either he or his agent agree to this?

it gives him a chance to come to camp and stick with the team and show another team he still has the goods . he says he will be ready by TC

hall didnt have a real good play here but also remember he has worked with the team before and it wasnt to his benefit then either

How does the new contract do any more than the old one which btw had guarantees? The team can still cut him and he gets nothing, same as before. There has to be more to this (new) contract than is being reported.

I'm not saying anything, I'm asking the question about what is the benefit of the new deal for Hall. He has no guarantees where before there were some. Ive asked several times if anyone has a clearer understanding of this new deal and why Hall and his rep. would agree to such a deal. Is he getting money up front? Is there a medical buyout if he can't recover fully? Will there be dead money in future years if he fails to make the team? As I said I'm only asking question.

read the article and it will tell you . the best i can see is the skins will bring him into TC and hall apparently wants that more then the money

Read it once then again to be clear, there's nothing in it that answers my questions. I was just hoping that someone had picked up something on other places that I don't frequent, like twitter, or some news source.
