So 24 for 24 last year. A perfect season.

This year? 11 for 16. 30th in the league at 68.8%. That includes 2 misses that cost us the Titans game.

Has the most missed extra points of any kicker since it was moved back in 2015. He missed 2 last week.

Next year has a base salary of $5 million with a $1 million dead money hit.

I'm assuming most feel it would be best to move on from him? Anyone feel we should keep him?

100%... Give him the boot... I just hope we don't miss while doing so...

I would love nothing more than to draft a kicker in the 5th round.. ;D
After we trade up to get him?

keep him here unless they find better which shouldn't be to hard. Also he doesn't or hasn't had to many kicks really because the team has been so dang bad on offense. His leg is getting rusty LMAO! He has 16 FG attempts this season tied with the Jags kicker for the least.

Always try to upgrade but dont toss someone if you got no one to replace them. Or we end up with a 50 year old kicker with a 68% career make average lol.

The FO found a gem of a punter in the 5th so maybe they can hit on a fg kicker. Of course same round or later.

drafting a kicker when you only have a few picks, I wouldnt put it past them to do this.

It's better than over paying for a really good kicker. It's better than going cheap on an even crappier kicker. Third option is go after one of the top 3 kickers coming out of college and pay him a cheap rookie contract for the next 4 to 5 years.

Never cared for the signing, misses too many PATs.
To be fair, he did go 24 for 24 last year- a Seahawks' season record, and a respectable 47 of 52 over his 2 first years here. So I don't think too many folks had a problem with him before this year.

But his kicking has been horrendous this year. If he had continued anywhere near last year's pace we would have had 2 or 3 more Ws. His kicking has directly attributed to several losses.

It has to be a mental issue. It certainly appeared that we had a long term kicker before this year but now it seems he needs to get his head straight somewhere else.

Kickers are so variable from year to year. They can go from best in the league to out of the league in a year.

When we let him go the first time, his kicking wasn't very good... He's very inconsistent though... Inconsistent kicker shouldn't make 4 million a year (2022 salary)

I'll grant you that his FGs from last season were pretty accurate - I'll point out that his first year here was similar to Sebastian Janikowski's year here (82.1% vs. 81.5% but missed 4 PATs to 3), and just about everyone was pining Seabass to be let go. Now, this year makes his 3 year stint with Seattle look an awful lot like he's been Seabass for 3 years. Hell, Blair Walsh's season here was better than this year has been for Myers, and the pitchforks were calling for Walsh's decapitation before he even missed his first kick, and really, Walsh's season was mostly "ok" except for the Washington game (80% FG). All this, and Myers is the second highest paid kicker in the NFL.

Myers has had a VERY bad season but his first season was an improvement over Seabass who had a season better than his career average but that's not saying much. Myers is what? 68% this year thats down right awful and he has cost us games and it's time to find better. Thing is Myers EARNED his shot to kick this season because of his unbelievable season last year. 24 of 24 on FG's in 2020 but my god i dont think anyone expected him to be 13 of 19 and sitting at 68%.

only 9 kickers since 1938 have completed 100% of their FG attempts in a season.

The most impressive thing about him being 100% last year was the 61 yarder. Granted, dude still can't seem to consistently hit his PATs.
