Read it once then again to be clear, there's nothing in it that answers my questions. I was just hoping that someone had picked up something on other places that I don't frequent, like twitter, or some news source.

i dont know what preconceived notions you have . hall did this for a reason . the best guess is that he wants to be a redskin and feels his career will benefit from it . the skins must have said we are cutting you loose because we dont think we can count on you . hall says he just wants a chance so he gave the skins relief to get it

if you are looking at only financial benefits then you wont get it . i suspect its other reasons but i cant prove it

Halls new deal benefits the Redskins b/c if the Redskins cut him Halls get nothing.
