Moses too, he was pushing his man all the way down the field until AP passed Moses then the defensive player had the angle to make the tackle. Great play all around on a ball through 3 or 4 yards behind the LOS. Well done!

Rarely do I give JG props but I like the creativity by JG, using Ryan Anderson (FB) as the lead blocker on Pete's TD. We should see more of these formation on down the road and rightfully so, Pete is a power runner. Anderson is a work in progress and he should get even better in this formation.

Sitting in the airport Monday discussing the game with a WP photographer who covered the game Sunday. We start talking about Reeds incredible catch and dive into the end zone before the half with 6 seconds to go and no timeouts. He say's, "Reed didn't score". Pulls up his pictures and sure enough, not one, but two knees down before he stretches into the end zone. What a terrible call by the ref who was standing right on top of that play.

Swear to God. I am so excited about this defense this year. You want the team to score but you almost can't wait for the D to get back on the field to watch them do their thing. Defensive football can be fun!!

No worries I guess, he wasn't touched.

Yeah, that was a no-brainer TD. He wasn't touched so that's a TD all day every day. It WAS a risky play, though, 'cause if he is touched the half runs out right there and we get no points since we were out of time outs. Turned out to be a good play though, but it was scary at first.
