At game today with family. Dunbar hands down was POG on defense. Offense was better in half one. AP is AP. Solid vs run. Manusky did not blitz much today. Lot to improve on but great win.

Ok...disclaimer.....the Cardinals were horrible today. Now let's get down to business.

Gruden didn't play his starters in the preseason and they came out and dominated the 1st half. Props to Gruden on his first 1-0 start and having the boys ready.

Alex was what he's always been, a good mobile QB that doesn't turn the ball over and usually ends up on the right side of the scoreboard at the end of the night.

Dink and dunk is not pretty but it sure keeps your defense off the field and controls the clock.

Keenum threw 3 picks today.
Bradford still sucks.
A.J. MaCarron was horrible in August
Etc.......

Smith was the best solution to a fked up situation. Skins traded back and recouped the 3rd round pick and Dunbar and Moreau were lights out today causing me to eat a bunch of crow. On the flip side, maybe Fuller wasn't the end all be all after all. We'll see. It's one game.

Concerns
Lack of path rush was alarming.
The WR group doesn't appear to be very good.
Apke saved a TD which brings up ST issues yet again.
Peterson's ball security.
D.J. seems to be out of position a lot lately.

The Good
Chris Thompson is on his way to becoming a star.

I almost want to extend AP another year right now so we can have him and Guice as a one two punch next year.

Trent Williams was his usual spectacular self.

Can't stress enough how good Payne is against the run. I think he might be a little better than Allen, which is crazy to me.

Hopkins was money and again, Dunny and Fabian were great today.

For this team to have a chance this year they have to start 2-0. One down, one to go. This team cannot give Luck the amount of time Bradford had today. If they go into the Green Bay game 2-0, there will be a playoff atmosphere at FedEx.

Good win. They beat the hell out of a bad football team. They did what they were supposed to do, which doesn't always happen with our Skins.

Setting up well for 3-0 because Rodgers is gone.

Not much to complain about! The fact that its the Cards obviously dampens the excitement a little but we looked the way youre supposed to look against the bad teams so really not a negative at all.

I think a 2-0 start is reasonable with Indy next week and after that if Rodgers doesnt play week 3....

Ok 1 game at a time lol

Correct. Gonna need more. Need to see tape, but was it WRs not getting separation or was it the QB not throwing it to them?

Alex's reputation is to CDC which you mostly saw today. That isn't always a bad thing and another thing he is know for is not throwing INTs. The reason, he takes the safe play and doesn't force the ball. I am fine with that as long as the team wins. I like ball control, it keeps the other teams offense off the field. I expected he would try some deeper throws using play action especially with how well the run game was going. They won, its all good The two best receivers on the team are CT and Reed.

Smith threw for a higher completion percentage which is the biggest reason for the difference. The litte dump in the flats to AP who took it 52 took Smith from 40 less yards to about 10 more yards. Round 1 to Smith. They both threw for 2 TD passes and Cousin's rushed for a few more yards. Cousin's did not have the benefit of 170 yards worth of rushing. In the end they both were on the winning side and they both earned their money. Of course I didn't expect you would analyze. 15 more to go coach.
