Lol at the excuses. RBs, coaches, receivers, bla bla bla. 2 years the same people making these excuses called him the best QB on the planet, and said that he would be regardless of surrounding circumstances.

He still is talent wise by a mile but mentally he's like a little girl. Meanwhile RW has the best preparation in the game like Peyton. Preparation and drive to be great each and everyday trump talent.

Yeah but ever since then hasn't he basically been hurt?

A couple years after the breakup yes. Romo is old and injury prone. Not sure if anyone will even take him as a backup now. He should just retire much like Sam Shields should.

That play calling that his nut riders are complaining about is specifically tailored to him. That offense was the equivalent of the Seahawks defense for years, simple but effective. You know what's coming, can you stop it? And that was because of his aggressive, confident and accurate passing. Now that he's no longer aggressive, confident or accurate, blame the play calling :L.

I think it's all mental with Rodgers. He's been hit so many times (injured and his line was pretty atrocious last year or the year before I think?), I think he's starting to get a little gunshy.

Case in point:

I haven't seen a throw like that from Rodgers forever, but he completely throws off his back foot and doesn't step into the pass even with no pressure which leads me to believe he's worried about getting hit.

I also think McCarthy is FAR overstayed his welcome. Packers offense may be one of the more predictable in the league at the moment.

His mechanics have completely broken down. I believe he expected a free play on this one since a Dal DL jumped so Rodgers just chucked it.

  • Rodgers passer rating (by year)
    2010: 101.2
    2011: 122.5
    2012: 108.0
    2013: 104.9
    2014: 112.2
    2015: 92.7 (Beginning of downturn)
    2016: 88.4

    Brady passer rating (by year)
    2010: 111.0
    2011: 105.6
    2012: 98.7 (beginning of downturn)
    2013: 87.3
    2014: 97.4
2015: 102.2 (Brady recovers as of current games)
    2016: 135.5
Brady at a much more advanced age was able to over come his slump but can Rodgers do it at a younger age?

Godgers MVP mode is back with 300+ yards 3 TD's and 100 + QB rating with no int's despite playing with RB's off the street, WR's dropping TD's and unable to get open. Rodgers threw the WR's open today. Wow Godgers shut me up today.

He threw the same passes perfectly today for 20 yd TD's but cobb dropped both of them. Godgers is back and dominating this league like he's playing vs a bunch of high school players.
