Still not liking Watson? Watching him tonight, I like his arm, his mechanics and his accuracy and his running ability. Not so much for his decision making though. Still he's by far the best Qb in college right now.
I didn't watch the game. My concern is he is another QB like Lap and RG3. I don't follow college ball so I base things second hand from scouting reports

I like what I've seen in the limited games I've watched him; especially his play in big games like the one they are playing now. Thrashing Ohio State 31 to nothing.

I tolerated the Wash/Bama game....the hot prospect for next season in Browning? That dude has no arm. The Alabama QB is irrelevant. The Clem/Ohio game featured Watson and again I was less than impressed. The Ohio QB was also irrelevant.

Browning looked scared out there just like he did against USC

isn't decision making one of the biggest traits for a QB? Pre-snap and post snap.

I was not impressed with that aspect of his game early in the first half.

Brilliant

Ok, in your opinion his decision making over his college career was brilliant.

We'll see in the next four months, because there will be TONS of draft information.

Best I saw by far with the possible exception of Sam Darnold but he's not eligible till the019 draft. Shouldn't be a problem though; as long as York is still running the team. We'll still be drafting in the top three by then.

best QB prospect doesn't mean good NFL QB, just have to look at Goff for a recent example.

the new GM/HC duo won't get fired next season, so Jed won't be involved for two years at least.

DeShawn Watson says "How do you like me now?"

He was quite impressive tonight against a very tough Alabama defense.
That's the understatement of the year. He threw for three TDs and 420 yards against a supposedly impregnable Alabama defense. He also graduated in 3 years while playing football so you know he is smart.

Vince Young II...with more maturity. I can only hope either Cleveland buys into it or someone out there will give up their draft for the #2 pick. I want nothing to do with D. Watson.

He has also thrown 30 interceptions the last two seasons against college competition. That's the knack on him.

He showed grit no doubt...but he'll get eaten alive in the NFL unless he stops staring down his first option. I paid a lot of attention to watching him go through his progressions...reminds me of a guy we currently have on the roster...I'm not going to say any names but it rhymes with Lapernick.

Yeah, his stats are BIG but seemed like 1/3 was due to good catches?! So while i DO credit him for a big game, just not taking those stats at 'face value'.

That is one of the knocks on him in scouting reports. Some of his weaknesses are similar to Kaepernick's and that is concerning. My concern is whether he can adjust to the NFL game or just end up like Kaep or even worse RG3
