NFLPA voted on the best coordinators. Glenn was voted as best DC, Fipp was rated 4th best Special teams, and Johnson did not make the top 5.
Our ST has been way better than our defense and still better than offense

I am well aware of what the poll was. It is why I said NFLPA in the post.

Glenn missed the mark at the start, the job he has done in the last 4-5 weeks has been remarkable. You can't doubt the changes he made in blitzing has not led to significant improvements
Not so much today

Defense gave up 400+ to a shitty Vikings offense missing their second best receiver and 3 OL. Still trying to use Gibbs on short yardage is retarded. Someone needs to get a clue.

Iffy needs to be on the field most of the time. There is a noticeable difference when he is not.

Nice we hurt 4 top players to win what is most likely a meaningless game. At least we dont have to get our hopes too high for the playoffs now.

Initial report on LaPorta is hyper extension and bone bruise, but no ligament damage. Still won't be with us in the playoffs, but fantastic news for long term.

This is still inline with the recent results. Generating a lot of pressure, but our corners can't hang long enough. We give up yards. The pressure leads to turnovers thay just did not happen, but the pressure made enough plays that even giving up crazy yardage it did not result in tons of points.

I am fine with the defensive effort out there. Sutton got torched for 200 in back to back weeks, can't keep up pressure and lend extra support for him out there. Have to choose, I think they chose right.

Our choices seem to be give up 10,000 yards and 30+ points by rushing 4 and dropping 7. Or giving up 20,000 yards but add a couple sacks and turnover by blitzing and mixing coverages.

And just found out I'm gonna have to work next week during the damn game. They're switching my weekends cuz of some dumb bullshit union stuff. I'm about to quit my job.

Anyone hiring? I could change careers easily i think. I'm thinking modeling can't be too difficult. You always hear stories about how dumb some models are and how they always get taken advantage of. I could do that.

The blitzing ups the turnovers we generate, and we force teams into third and long way more often. 20 points is an acceptable amount of points

I was bummed about LaPorta, but then I saw DPJ and Mitchell step up. I think we can weather the bad news offensively. Gibbs can take a more active passing role, too.

But defensively it looks like Nacua will get 200+ receiving yards and we will give up other chunk plays.

I can't wait to hear how loud it gets at Ford Field!

Against a good team sure. Not against a team that is down their starters at QB, TE and 3 OL.

Lions better hope LaPorta is good to play. James Mitchell is officially out. Looks like Brock Wright is back.

James Houston was a full practice participant 3 days in a row and still put as out.

Houston kind of surprised me, just 15 plays would’ve helped.
