I think our defensive talent is well below an average playoff team.

Lack of penalties and ball control on offense has helped mask it.

I do wonder where the defense would have ended up if CJGJ and Mosely stayed healthy. Holmes added a ton of DB help with those 3 and Branch. The early defense with CJ actually looked similar to what it looks like with Iffy killing it.

Holmes tried to bolster the talent, and it did improve, but not as much as it could have with some injury luck.

There was NO reason for any important starter to be playing deep into the 2nd quarter of a meaningless game the week before the playoffs start.

I'll be surprised if LaPorta didn't tear a ligament. That looked really bad.. legs aren't supposed to bend that way. I missed what happened to Branch.

It’s challenging to determine the value of playing your starters. Players want to play; it keeps them in tune with the game. If we go up three scores, then get the bench players some game experience.

If you have a week off, I get it. But we don't. We play next week. No one's getting rusty. It's a very easy decision. Protect against injuries 6 days before you play a playoff game.

Laporta, Gibbs, Branch and Campbell are guys I’m fine with playing the whole game. Well, was. We’ll see LaPorta again in the preseason.

This pass D will be their downfall and probably next week. How can they just let Jefferson continue to run free like that? I get it's zone and he's one of the best, but there's rarely anyone even close when he catches the ball. There's no excuse for that.
