K, was just peeping the standings. Miami would miss the playoffs if they started today according to what i saw. they ARE tied record-wise with the Pistons for 8th though and are much better at home. didn't look at the Heat's schedule. out of the 12 games they have left how many are home games...?

It very well might come down to who is playing who the last few games.
Teams locked in will prob be resting players.


Our final 3 games are @ Wizards, the home vs Cavs and Wizards.
There's a good chance that by then those games are meaningless to them.

Pop did it once and Stern fined the Spurs for doing it during a prime time game. Stern's first objective as commissioner was to make sure the NBA's bottom line wasn't impacted in a negative way. Looks like Silver's lost sight of that.
