The battle of the Techs!
VT at GT wage war for the ACC Coastal Crown! (sort of, lol if UVA wins out and takes it)
I know you VT fans are all the way turnt up, right?
Seriously still whining about missed calls in the Clemson game.... a game that we won, and handily.
Seriously guys, who cares if GT should have won by 4 TD's and not 2? Maybe it would have made for a 1-2 spot jump in the polls, that's about it.
I had never heard of this until today.
Basically... since 1972 they have tracked the college football champion.......... if college football were professional boxing.

The progession is kind of interesting to look at.... especially if you are familiar with...
You can mention your expectations for your team, but I'm probably not going to read them.
GT is 6-0 and ranked 12th in the country, but they haven't really played much solid competition outside of UNC. So, it stands to reason that when they beat a ranked Clemson and VT team by 20+ points...
They were rolling early and then just fell asleep.
Hopefully this is a good learning experience and a wake up call. And the best part is... they're still undefeated.
6-0 for the first time since I was -21 years old. I'll take it.

With all of the college programs that have been investigated and hammered lately..... do you worry at all the Clemson's investigation is coming soon?
I have no idea if Clemson is actually dirty or not, but it seems that people are suspicious in general.... especially with those pictures of...
Dude was out of control. Pushed me in the stands, causing me to spill my drink on some chick. Then he got kicked out at halftime. Tried to fight me for like 20 minutes in the hotel room, managed to rip my shirt off and punch me in the forehead, mostly because I was still trying to watch the game...

UNC
Georgia Tech:

@ UVA
@ Miami
Both of them face a pretty decent team in the last week and could potentially lose, but the schedules look pretty favorable for an 8-0 vs 8-0 matchup in Atlanta on October 30th.
Would be good...
This statistic reflects the average amount of points your team scores on offense in the red zone compared to the average amount of points your team surrenders on defense in the red zone.
So, if you score a TD every time you get in the red zone, and allow a field goal every time your opponents...
It's not just the passing game.... they've been spreading the ball around even more than before, and running much less triple option plays.
Hell, they only ran the triple option 5 times against UNC.
They've had 11 players this season go for plays of 20 + yards
It's a pretty...
Ever watch an NCAA game, and they talk about Red Zone %? For this stat, they count field goals the same way they count TD's. One team could have 30 points on 10 trips, and the other team could have 70 points, but their "Red Zone %" is equal.
Well, folks.... here is my Red Zone stat. Points...
I did this a few times last year. Also, if you have any stats that you would like to see compared, throw out some suggestions.
I'm going to start with one I did last year.... passing yards per interception.
NCAA calculates passing attempts per interception, but I think this is a little...
1. Clemson - not sold that they're the best, but they have the beat resume so far. Staved off an injury depleted FSU team this week. Next week's game decides if they stay here or swap spots with VT.
2. GT - offense looking close to unstoppable, except when they stop themselves. 2 ugly miscues...
This game should be closer. Then again, we never should have turned it over on their 20.
Oh well. I like what I saw out of the defense after the first drive. Pressure works for us.
GT gets the ball to start the half. Let's blow this open!
Up with the white and gold!
This GT team has shown that they can do some pretty good things already, but I feel like this game sets the tone for the season.
If they come out and put UNC away easily... I could see this being a 10-12 win season.
If they scrape out a win, I'm still thinking 8-9
If they lose or get...
