Now all they have to do is beat a top 5 team, a top 15 team, and Duke in back to back games and the ACC Coastal is theirs!

Piece of cake.

Actually they don't. UVa still just has two conference losses. But yeah, who am I kidding?

Calvin, I've not seen GT's last two games, and I don't intend this as a flame. But I was just curious as to what has changed since the first six games of the season for you guys?

Let's change that to the first 5 weeks.

The game against Maryland was just as bad, Maryland was just bad enough for it to still be a win.

The execution on offense is terrible. I don't believe for a second that Maryland, UVA, and Miami actually have better defenses than some of the teams GT played in the first few weeks. And certainly not better enough to hold GT to 2 (UVA) or 1 (Miami) offensive touchdowns in a game, compared to the 40+ points they were dropping on everyone else.

GT is just sloppier. Something is off, players aren't doing what they are supposed to do. The blocking is terrible, and they are constantly shooting themselves in the foot with penalties.

The play calling has been different, too. Paul Johnson hadn't been using a lot of triple option during the first 5 weeks.... now there's way too much of it (for some reason, he seems to use it most when it's NOT working). But even when we do run the same plays, they just aren't as effective. What used to be a 15-30 yard run for us is now more like an 8 yard run because the players just aren't making their blocks. I have faith that it CAN be fixed.... I'm just not sure if it will.

And if it isn't... I fully expect GT to lose 3 of these last 4 games

I have to admit. The GT game worries the crap out of me, especially with our banged up defense.

Duke vs Wake Forest ACC championship!!!!

LOL

All Duke has to do is beat every single team in their division in back to back to back to back to back games.

How did they get a schedule where EVERY one of their division games are the last 5 games of the season?

odd but simple enough, Duke's toughest opponent is Virginia Tech and they get them at home where that intimidating Duke crowd will be loud and they will be proud.
