This statistic reflects the average amount of points your team scores on offense in the red zone compared to the average amount of points your team surrenders on defense in the red zone.
So, if you score a TD every time you get in the red zone, and allow a field goal every time your opponents get in the red zone... your Points/Points allowed ratio would be 7/3...... or 2.3
