Fun With Stats: Teams that excel in the Red Zone

This statistic reflects the average amount of points your team scores on offense in the red zone compared to the average amount of points your team surrenders on defense in the red zone.

So, if you score a TD every time you get in the red zone, and allow a field goal every time your opponents get in the red zone... your Points/Points allowed ratio would be 7/3...... or 2.3

Boise State looks bad..... but it's a little misleading due to a small sample size. Only 3 times this season have teams even made it into the redzone against them.

They just happened to score TD's every time.

Miami does pretty well, but KSU does better.

Last year Iowa was in the top 10 of almost every stat I put together. It was interesting.
