I think that index is highly dependent on the eyes that the teams bring to the TV. MSU doesn't bring that like OSU or Michigan.

The FPI is,a joke and everyone who knows anything about CFB knows it. I don't have an issue with ESPN having a terrible ranking if they want but they HAVE to stop using it when debating who should be on or out of the playoff. The committee doesn't use it because it's the worst available poll of the hundreds of polls. Yet ESPN insists on trying to shove it down our throat and act like it even matters a little bit. The rankings basically haven't changed in like 5 weeks. Its laughably bad
