Time to die
1. Clemson - not sold that they're the best, but they have the beat resume so far. Staved off an injury depleted FSU team this week. Next week's game decides if they stay here or swap spots with VT.
2. GT - offense looking close to unstoppable, except when they stop themselves. 2 ugly miscues in a solid win over UNC at home.
3. VT - Haven't really played anyone yet. Feels kind of strange for a team that generally has a tough game early on. Clemson will be the first real test. Win and they move to #1.
4. UNC - drops to 3-1 after a close loss in Atlanta. Still doing well despite all of the off the field issues. Could still contend for the coastal.
5. FSU - Just 2-2 now, but it was tough to recover from the OU game before heading to Clemson. Still very real Atlantic division contenders. Clemson has to play GT and VT from the coastal, both on the road. FSU plays neither.
6. Wake Forest? It really gets ugly from here on out. This may be the first year that people can say the ACC seems "top heavy" in some time. They sit at 2-1, the 1 loss being a disappointing OT loss to Cuse in a game they should have won.
7. Miami - They could still be pretty decent. The loss to Maryland looks bad now, but that was the game they were missing the most players for. They probably have no chance of winning the division, unless they become a whole new team, and quickly
8. Duke - They lost to Richmond, which it seems like they do every time they play. Other than that, a loss to Stanford is nothing to cry over and they are now 2-2. By no means a good team, and will likely fall further down this list, but being at .500 right now is a win for them.
9. UVA - bad loss against So. Miss. Too many turnovers cost them. Not a good team, but probably capable of an upset somewhere along the line.
10. NC State - The Wake and Cinci losses were ugly. That trend will likely continue.
11. Maryland - I don't think even Al Fuckin Golden could have embarrassed you any more thoroughly today
12. Boston College - What happened to this program?
