I prefer to be called a genius.
he won't. and he'll never achieve the playoff accomplishments of kobe
Get him some professional counselling - He is very sickSimple Thread, just curious where this board feels on this. Had a relative of mine insist that Harden is better.
He's only 28, odds are likely he has at least another 3/4 seasons before he declines.
But Kobe isn't better than Dirk.
quit sucking harden's dick, you pud. kobe is, and always will be, in a league far above james harden.
lmao. I'm not sucking his dick. Everything I said was a fact, deal with it how you may.
Recency Bias.

@tlance ...
I will cut your ass to the pink meat if you respond!!!!!
Saying Harden is a better offensive player is not a knock on Kobe. Kobe is an alltime great. Harden is not on that level because he doesn't defend.
But offensively? I would love to see somebody make an objective argument for Kobe here.
-Harden has a higher career PER. His best season has a PER of 29.8 compared to Kobe's best of 28.0.
-Harden has posted over 10 offensive win shares each of the last 5 seasons, while Kobe only posted 3 such seasons over the course of his career.
-Kobe's career best true shooting percentage is .580. Harden has had 1 season in his entire career lower than .598.
-Kobe had had 3 seasons over 6 assists per game with a career best of 6.3. Harden has been over 7 assists a game the last 4 years, with a career best of 11.2.
Like I said, the numbers aren't all that close. If you have 1 possession with the game on the line, I take Kobe. But for the other 47 minutes it is Harden. Offensively at least.

"*sniff* *snivel* i hated that damned kobe, what with his championship pedigree and all! I'll take any opportunity i can to knock him down a peg! *snivel snivel*"
I loved watching Kobe play. I'm not knocking him, I just posted facts.
k. the original premise was "who's the better player?" that encompasses offense AND.AND...AND...and defense. again, it's not close. harden not on kobe's level, and harden DAMN sure isn't the leader that kobe was.
