So Devin Booker is the best offensive player in the league now?
Offense doesn't just refer to being a bucket getter.

Kobe didn't/couldn't create for others like Harden.

But, Kobe whores him defensively.

LOL.

Harden:

53 16 and 17

See I can play too.

Kobe had 2 assists in his 81 point game, so Harden's 53 and 17 accounted for far more points when the 3s on his assists are tabulated.

So you're giving Harden credit for the offense of other people?

Dude, I would take any other legitimate option over Kobe.

Offensively.......meaning scoring, creating for himself and others.....Agree.

Harden.

But, as you stated...

Better all around player, that peanut head mofo in purp and gold.

Ps. Thank you for not acknowledging my Jordan statement.

You did say you would cut me.

Ummm, that's what an assist means...

In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads to a score by field goal, meaning that he or she was "assisting" in the basket.

Yep which is why I said it is no debate about who is the best overall player but you can def make a case or Harden being a better offensive player. I don't think anyone would say Harden is the better overall player currently

Let's include Magic and Stockton in this then
Sure.

That's what made them and Nash, Chris Paul so great.

They create for those who can't create for themselves.

Clint Capela, Deandre Jordan, Shawn Marion....

Even then, Harden's efficiency is much better. Kobe took a lot more shots.

Yeah, because on a team with Chris Mihm, Kwame Brown and Smush Parker, you're going to leave all the offense to them, right?

And Kobe another game with 61 not mention a string of 40+ games over his career and didn't he have a game with 11 or more 3's - Not to mention 5 championship titles a huge string of games that closed out and won, Olympic Champion something like 3 times, Between Harden and Kobe its not even close, I'd take LeBron before Kobe

Of course Kobe is a better player. Nobody is saying otherwise.

Offense only. Harden is the better offensive player.

Saying Harden is a better offensive player is not a knock on Kobe. Kobe is an alltime great. Harden is not on that level because he doesn't defend.

But offensively? I would love to see somebody make an objective argument for Kobe here.

Never mind, @tlance clearly stated offensively he was better

No.

But that isn't the point.

You tired to end the thread by bringing up Kobe's 81. Harden's best career game is arguably better than Kobe's best. His best is season is definitely better than Kobe's best from an offensive statsistical standpoint.

You have yet to make a legit case for your boy. A 2 word answer is not a good response. Advance stats are on Harden's side.
