I kinda agree with SJ76 here...Phillips will find the right combinations...but just like they sent Olgletree out because he wasn't deemed a scheme fit, they're importing a 43 DT who has never played the NT at this level to my knowledge.

Phillips will but a solid DEF out there, but this is one I need to see come together.

I think this is likely. Not because I hate the rams, opposite actually. They are the team I like most in the West, but because how often do we see the team that wins the offseason win the post season? Not often. Lots of big egos in that locker room. Yeah Wade is the best defensive mind in the league right now, but getting all those guys pulling in the same direction is going to be tough.

Exactly....they didn't know what to do with this fast, kind of undersized guy, but he ultimately ended up playing ILB.

IIRC he went to the NYG...ironic but I think they are also transitioning to a 34 so it's going to be interesting to see how he adjusts.. FWIW...I think he can play a 34 mack spot without much trouble...he just cost so damn much.

I just don't see the studs on the edge or the second level yet...Interior DL and backend are covered.

Indeed....gotta give the man some horses though.

I think more than anything, I don't think we're looking at his finished work so as I've said...I will be taking note of the Rams DEF this season.

I think Wade believes he's got a few horses now and we will be drafting a few as well. On top of that free agency is not over with. We currently have a group of young linebackers in their mid 20s.
