RAMS sign Suh

Rams signed DT Ndamukong Suh, formerly of the Dolphins, to a one-year, $14 million contract.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Suh took less to sign with the Rams. This has been the expected outcome for much of the past week after it was reported the Rams entered the conversation. Suh was reportedly very intrigued by the idea of teaming up with Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers while playing for DC Wade Phillips. It's a way for Suh to sort of rehab his value one a one-year deal as a 31-year-old. Even at his age, Suh remains one of the very best interior linemen, even if the counting stats weren't there for him last season in Miami. Look for Phillips to get the most out of him, allowing him to one-gap and attack upfield. This Rams defensive front and secondary is absolutely stacked; they now just need edge rushers.

I don't want to rain on the Suh parade, cause I'm a big fan and I'd be excited too.

But - just a friendly reminder that Wade Phillips has been on 10 NFL teams, has a winning % just shy over .500, and won only one Superbowl when Peyton Manning was the QB.

He gets a tad bit more media hype than maybe he has earned.

Sure his head coaching winning % is just over .500 and that would be relevant IF he was a head coach

How's Wade done the past few years when he's had horses? As a DC? Denver was dominant and anyone who Knows football knows that it wasn't Peyton Manning winning the super bowl for Denver.

Seriously though we traded Ogletree, trade for Talib and Peters, and signed SUH. We've thrown stupid money at no one, just working the cap.

The Falcons did pretty good against the Rams in the playoffs. Eagles DC...Vikes DC...Matt Patricia before becoming a HC...few guys.
