No I am not. Why are you confrontational? Shark and I agree about the Doctson catch. Its a valid point to bring up the clock situation.

What? If you want to debate the approach so be it - it is debatable but a fair pt. However -berating either Doctson or Cousins in this situation is a bit much. Cousins made a good play & perhaps could have thrown elsewhere but lots of other QBs (including someone like Rodgers or Brady) would make the same play - have no issue with that. Sure - Doctson could have caught the ball, but he didn't - so be it. He is young and learning & will have chances to redeem himself.

You must not make many mistakes since you appear to criticize just about everyone.

Not berating KC at all. He played well. Gruden wanted the TD after the timeout. KC is just doing what Gruden wanted. Im just questioning with the time left was that the right call going for the TD instead of the first down. Even with the first down we still had time for a TD with leaving the Chiefs with no time to comeback. You never heard of scoring too early could beat you? Even if Doctson scored the game was still in doubt. Docston should be called out b/c he did make the catch but never protected the ball. He chose to brace himself for the ground vs protecting the ball. that is why Shark is calling him a sissy or whatever. Shark is correct. That is bush-league.

Actually its Wuss.

And I say that because to me its no better or worse than a WR dropping or giving up on a catch because he hears or see's the safety lining him up for the shot. Doctson got a case of the alligator arms, only the hit he fears was the ground coming up.

And to add insult to injury, he strained his shoulder any way.

I keep watching that highlight. Not only did he double catch it, he took his 2nd hand away from the ball in the endzone. That is a cardinal sin.

Has your feeling on Josh Doctson changed after this drop?

Well - it looks like certain radio guys and fans don't agree with you. Paulsen makes an interesting observation here - Doctson is likely one of the few - if not the only - Redskins receiver who could make this play in the first place. Again - he screwed up to an extent but you guys are taking it way too far. Dean - I would love to see you make that play. Give it a rest - let him redeem himself during the rest of the season - or not & then condemn him.

Why do you feel the need to constantly criticize this team?

Pryor or Reed could of made that play. he double catched it and took his hand of the ball. cmon. wow. not criticized just expressing my opinions. You wouldn't understand clock management and catches anyways. Get me on that radio station. lol

Those guys are fools. Of course it wasn't a catch. Jumping up and catching the ball with TWO hands is not hard IMO.

Yep - you got us. Apparently you are the only one who understands the NFL and the Redskins & that is why you believe that your opinions are facts & second guess everything this team does. We all bow down to you.

And you know this how? When exactly did you play WR in the NFL?

that is football 101. Both hands on the ball while going to the ground especially in the end zone.

I will simply say it like this, taking his hand off the ball to try and some how break his fall showed a lack of situational football knowledge. In that situation the focus has to be on completing the catch... period Now to me it looked like he was more concerned with not hitting the ground than securing the catch. He makes the catch, four point lead, game on. His dros the catch, field goal and the defense that is banged up has to pull a shut out just to go into over time.

Hopefully this changes his mind set and he worries more about making the catch than taking the hit going forward.

socal refuses to acknowledge this. Plus he didn't even bring it in to his chest.

I refuse to admit it since I am not a mind reader. Nice to know that you have special skills like that. Jeez - let it go already. At worst - the guy made a mistake. Do you ever let anything go?

Would you have made the catch? Would Shark have made the catch?

Pryor? He can't even catch a ball that hits his hands while he is on his feet consistently. Reed, probably.

I find it hard to reconcile this with this

On the one hand you are saying well Cousins played OK, but it wasnt good enough. On the other you are saying, well we should give Doctson more time.

While I agree Doctson shouldnt be benched. Fact is, had he kept two hands on the ball, he likely makes the catch and we likely win. Flip side, Kirk did everything people have been saying he is not capable of. He took the team on his back, when the run game vanished and the defense was getting shaky. He put the team in a position to win the game.. but and I quote you here... it simply wasnt good enough.

Pretty sure he has led the team in rushing twice this season. What more can he do?

for some, he can't be that arm candy messiah that they covet. For some the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

He was probably anticipating a throw off Kirks back foot and it threw him off. Blame KC
