So much wrong here and clearly not from someone that actually follows the Cowboys. But, it's certainly an opinion...The Cowboys finished 10-6 last year, but had so many close victories. Five of their wins were by four or fewer points, meaning their 10-6 record easily could have been 5-11 if they weren't so lucky. I expect Dallas to disappoint for a number of reasons on top of its natural regression:
1. Ezekiel Elliott is holding out. Even if he eventually reports to the team, there's a dubious history concerning running backs who hold out. It's likely that Elliott won't have his best season unless he returns to the team soon.
2. Amari Cooper was amazing for Dallas last year, but he often quit for the Raiders. If things don't go well for him, he may give up on routes and drop lots of passes again.
3. Cole Beasley is gone. Beasley was such a key third-down weapon for Dak Prescott. Just look at how poorly the Cowboys fared with Beasley being banged up against the Rams.
4. The offensive line isn't the same without Travis Frederick. There's a chance Frederick could play this season, but it's unlikely that he'll be as great as he used to be.
5. Jason Garrett continues to be the worst head coach in the NFL.
