They both have this magical ability to have their 5 holes open to oncoming pucks and niether of them can control a rebound to save their lives. If you Flyers fans think my hate for Briere is strong you don't want to hear the things I used to say about Biron...

Trade picks for another solid depth scorer who can hit a little


Don't trade for Nash('s contract).

Have Havlat use the door to get onto the ice next season

I like this a lot. Here's mine with a few tweaks to it: a longshot (to say the least) signing of Doan, acquiring Clutterbuck for Murray (And a pick?), and signing a guy for D depth (I picked Zanon). I also held onto Handzus.

They have Winnik & Braun undervalued (probably Kelly too), which makes it fit under the cap here, but you would have to either move Handzus or sign very cheap depth D to make it work. I only bring those two up because, of the signings I listed here, that's two of the three I actually see happening with Stuart being the third.
