Patrick Willis is the top MLB just due to consistency.
Daryl Washington might be the best right now.
Luke Kuechly is the future.
Navorro Bowman is sadly also top 5
Derrick Johnson is the best of the rest but anyone could be on here

Hurt and injured. Two different things. I'm guessing you guys who like SJax have never owned him in fantasy. Right? (If you're in a keeper league with me, you can have him, I'm not wasting a keeper on his old, frustrating, awesomehaired ass)

I like your 3-4 OLB list except for Clay Matthews. He is probably a bit overrated. DeMarcus Ware is also transitioning away from his post which is rather amusing.

I actually had a hard time filling out that list. Apparently we're in a transition period from the old guard like Ware and Hali to younger guys like Aldon Smith and Justin Houston, who just missed my list.

I'm not a Matthews fan at all, personally I think his production goes bye-bye if/when effective HGH testing is implemented. For now though he's damn good, unfortunately.

Ware and Wake are both transitioning to 4-3 DEs from 3-4 OLBs, so this list will be without two of it's top 5 next year by default...

Peyton has won a super bowl made the colts amazing (look how much they dropped off when he left) and has quickly turned the broncos elite. Imagine what peyton could have done with the patriots or steelers wow.

The Colts tanked one season, drafted Luck and returned to the playoffs in one year. So is Andrew Luck as good as Manning? The Broncos aren't elite. Tim Tebow made it farther in the playoffs with them than Manning did. Patriots or Steelers? Neither would have all the Super Bowls they have with Brady and Big Ben because Peyton would have thrown a playoff game ending INT for them just like he did for the Colts, and the Broncos. I guess I'm the only one who remembers these games.

Nice list Tpaul

These guys are interchangable. Von stays atop his list. Demarcus is declining, Clay is more pass rush specialist to me than all around LB. Aldon Smith moves up to me. Chad Greenway way undervalued around league.
MLB I am moving all up and Willis/ Keuchly at 4/5. WIllis can not stay on field. His presence does put Bowman a top the list IMO.

I truly see 52 other guys on game day. I hate that a QB gets all credit for wins and losses. Never seen one make a sack, FF, blow coverage. Cat from Giants catches ball on his helmet, and suddenly little Manning wins a Super Bowl. Manning had his team in driver seat for AFC title game and he did not blow coverage on game tying catch.

By the way Tebow did not make it farther. Manning ( because he is only guy playing) had a bye... Tebow lost in same round!!
Again I will post this. Manning did not blow this coverage...

Evidently Peyton is now also Assistant General Manager, prolly on account of being so damn good at being a Quarterback. It's when we don't challenge ourselves that we regress, ya know what I'm sayin'. (I agree with everything everyone says about linebackers, especially 3-4 linebackers)

Aren't all 3-4 OLBs basically pass-rush specialists? Or at least all of the prominent ones anyways. You don't hear of a lot of 3-4 OLBs heralded as good run stoppers or coverage guys- that's mostly on the ILBs in a 3-4.

Chad Greenway way undervalued around league.
Hate to say it because he's a Viking, but you're absolutely right- he doesn't get the props he deserves.

Patrick Willis? He's started 92 out of a possible 96 regular season games. I wouldn't say he's got a problem staying on the field at all...

Idk about Ware declining, either. I hesitated to put him atop my list, but after reviewing his stats he's still playing at a very high level. He's put together double-digit sacks for 7 seasons in a row and followed a 19.5 sack campaign in 2011 with 11.5 sacks and 5 forced fumbles. His sacks may have fallen some , but the 5 strips were way up. Overall he's still playing at a very high level...

You keep saying this but only when it benefits Peyton Manning. He had the opportunity to win the game and threw another playoff exit INT just like he always does. Most one and done play off games than any QB in history, but you guys don't want to blame him. Ok.

And you can hate it, but the QB has more to do with the success of a football team than anything else (Dilfer is the long exception to the rule). Just look at Manning's old team for proof. Team rebounded no problem without him, but with a rookie QB. More proof Manning was the problem in Indy and not everyone else.

And Tebow won a playoff game. Something PayTon hasn't done since 2007. But he's the best ever! Ok.

Guess Elway got tired of the "most overrated QB in the room jokes" eh?

Lavonte David is also really good. I could see him being top 5 at some point

edit: nm. He's an OLB. Somehow I thought he'd be a MLB in a Tampa 2

Elway, from what I hear, has dedicated himself to becoming Denver's first and the NFL's first President/Mascot, Johnny Horseface.

He did have a helluva season. You could easily make the case that he's right there with Wagner and Keuchly at #5. Good year for OLBs, apparently...
