Allen for sure... Peppers, maybe. If Peppers makes it on there it will be just barely. He's not the force he once was, although he's still a very good DE and has had a stellar career.

For comparisons sake Allen has 34 sacks over the last two seasons compared to Pepper's 22.5, basically a good season's worth of sacks difference there...


I don't think I'll get much argument making J.J. Watt my #1. His season last year, especially considering that he's a 3-4 DE, was among the best ever for any defensive linemen, any era. He was simply amazing last year...

No acid these days. Not even any shrooms. The lack of a keyboard is probably to blame for the decrease in my nonsensical words per post. It's hard to thumb out my meandering ramblings on this stupid phone. (Paragraph). It's always been my assumption that Peppers gets game planned for a lot. Especially with that oldass crew he's been working with. (Israel, Lance, BUrlacher, Richard Dent...). But that's just my assumption. And that assumption started in a different phase of my life, when I never would have thumbed those first two sentences up there.

Watt counts, but Wake has been a 3-4 OLB up till now, if I'm not mistaken. I listed him on my 3-4 OLB list anyhow, but I'm betting he'll crack my top 5 DEs next year. He's a helluva pass rusher either way, and every team except Miami better feel pretty stupid for not signing him away from the CFL!

Watt counts, but Wake has been a 3-4 OLB up till now, if I'm not mistaken. I listed him on my 3-4 OLB list anyhow, but I'm betting he'll crack my top 5 DEs next year. He's a helluva pass rusher either way, and every team except Miami better feel pretty stupid for not signing him away from the CFL!

Yeah, Wake is a 4-3 DE next year but has been playing mostly as a 3-4 OLB. Generally there is less of a distinction there than between a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DE but JJ Watt is probably good enough to play anywhere on the line.

Who do you guys have ahead of Charles Johnson? He's wildly productive.

Imo, the 3-4 OLBs should be grouped in with the 4-3 DEs because arguably the 2 best pass rushing 3-4 OLBs are becoming 4-3 DEs and there are some hybrid teams out there, too. Von Miller actually has 3 position flexibility because he could play 4-3 OLB, 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE.

I'd love to have a couple guys who suck, but produce like a muthafugga! I'm no longer big on JPP. Can't say why exactly. Maybe I'm just sick of Coughlin getting the best out of his guys. Ill do my best to get my game back to where it once was laker. Starting, right........ Now!

2 J J Watt only reason he is not #1 is he has only played 1 year

3 Mario Williams forgotten in Buffalo but still damn good

4 DeMarcus Ware has fallen off but do not ignore him

5 Chris Long watched to many of his college games to ever overlook what he can do
