Watch it Gandy! Reason is a 4 letter word in Tennessee. Then again most are a 4 letter word down there because they try their best to keep everything to a one syllable word...
It's flat out wrong, is the point. Neither of those players are top 5 and would be hard pressed to be considered top 10 in their respective positions. Maybe you should try using reason the next time you post something.
I'd have to go with the same 5 Gandy. But I'd drop Revis to 3, and give Peanut the two spot. But Revis would jump back to #1 by about week 3, if he is himself.
Imo Revis, Sherman and Peterson are cover CBs in a league by themselves. Peanut is in another league of his own as an all-around defender.
It's those 4 and everyone else at CB. There's a nice group of 6 or 7 guys after that who make up the next wave...
For years jackson was a beast and top five on an awful team have to give him props for that. Now most of his tds and yards will be due to a dominant offense.
This is a pretty good post. Jackson is good but progressively breaking down. When the Rams went 7-9 in Bradford's rookie year, Jackson was hurt pretty much all year but still played through most of it. He is missing that extra gear that he used to have 4+ years ago but he is still decent and doesn't turn the ball over. I'm not sure he's a top 10 RB anymore.Steven Jackson the last four years:
games 15-16-15-16 very surprising he has only missed 2 games, it seems he is always injured.
attempts 324-330-260-257 has gone down per game each year
yards 1416-1241-1145-1042 once again has gone down each year
tds 4-6-5-4 .306 per game
yds/ attampt 4.4-3.8-4.4-4.1 4.1 total
yds/game 94.4-77.6-76.3-65.1 goes down each year 78.1 total
Yes Atlanta's line should help him, but that alone should not bump his stats to top 5 RBs
He's ALWAYS hurt!
