Russell Wilson has won a playoff game more recently than Mega Head. Peyton Manning has only won 2 playoff games in the last 5 years, and hasn't won one since 2009. He also has more one and done playoff exits than anyone ever. You can have him in the regular season. Come playoff time he's the last guy to get the job done.

He's the Ray Finkle of QB's.

Swarm, IMO we are ranking these players without criteria of wins and losses(playoffs regular season).

QB's always fall under this criteria when ranking. Just because a guy has a ring means nothing to me. Trent Dilfer ring a bell?? 52 other guys are involved with wins and losses.

I do not see where this is Mannings fault. He had his team in position for the win!!

Even I will admit that I would rather have either Manning over Wilson... for the time being.

He's not that old- dude is 30, just turned it about a week ago. I know that's the wall for most RBs, but Jackson is not most RBs- he'll finish his career in the top 20 in all-time rushing yards and could quite possibly break into the top 10 (needs 2,104 yards to do so). We're talking about a boarder-line Hall of Fame player, not an aging Tiki Barber or Corey Dillon or Frank Gore.

With his bruising running style, big frame and lack of serious injury throughout his career I just don't see him hitting that 30 year old wall. Most RBs do- the greats squeeze out a few more good years. If he gets 3,600 rushing yards over the rest of his career he finishes as the leagues 5th leading rusher all-time. I don't think he'll quite crack that, just based on the odds, but I do see him cracking the top 10.

He won't have the single season success of some of the other current backs, but he's maintained a very good level of success over a very long time that nobody else in the league right now can match. Adrian Peterson is the next closest active player in career rushing yards, and he's another all-time great. Peterson will very likely end up passing Jackson at some point in rushing yards and TDs, but to Jackson's credit his receiving output blows Peterson's away.

Long story short is that we're talking about a guy who will probably have a bronze bust in Canton one day who is heading to the best offense he's been on since his rookie year...

He is That old. He's been an aging back for several years. He's no longer a workhorse like he once was. And he's not going to be again. It doesn't happen to running backs, there's no fighting Father Time. There's a chance he has a nice season. Maybe he even gets a 1,000 and 12 TDs. He might. Still wouldn't get him in the top five at his position. AP, Rice, mcCoy, Charles, Lynch(there's 5), Richardson, Martin, Spiller, Foster, morris(that's 10)and you still have guys like Forte, MJD, Gore, Ridley and even Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush and I gotta be forgetting somebody. Jackson not close to what he once was guys. Hasn't been for awhile.

I'm set in my ways. Manning has more one and dones than anyone else. So I don't want him. Get off my lawn about it! :gaah:

Manning is #1, by a significant amount. More, with less, than probably anyone is NFL history.

Actually Fave is tied with him. But Manning will be no.1 this time next year. You are talking about all-time playoff losses right?

Can we talk about all-time playoff appearances? Staff and Wilson are tied in that category..... At one.

The Falcons future is bright with SJax carrying the rock. You watch. I'm going to talk so much shit when Payton throws ANOTHER playoff exiting INT. God I can't wait.

You know who has the same YPC in his career as Steven Jackson? Shonn Green...... Seriously.

Steven Jackson the last four years:

games 15-16-15-16 very surprising he has only missed 2 games, it seems he is always injured.

attempts 324-330-260-257 has gone down per game each year

yards 1416-1241-1145-1042 once again has gone down each year

tds 4-6-5-4 .306 per game

yds/ attampt 4.4-3.8-4.4-4.1 4.1 total

yds/game 94.4-77.6-76.3-65.1 goes down each year 78.1 total

Yes Atlanta's line should help him, but that alone should not bump his stats to top 5 RBs

Wow, a 49ers fan who questions the placement of two Seahawks players? Shocker.

It's too soon to put Wilson in the top 5, imo, but Lynch is in there all day. This may shock your system, but anyone who isn't a 49ers fan would take Lynch over Gore all day every day...

It's flat out wrong, is the point. Neither of those players are top 5 and would be hard pressed to be considered top 10 in their respective positions. Maybe you should try using reason the next time you post something.

Lynch is most definitely top ten and top 5 material is my point. Wilson I will give you. You sir, are flat wrong with Lynch.

Where do you project Kap and Gore??? Let us see if this is homerism or hatred?

Like I said, you have a point with Wilson but are way off base with Lynch. Name 10 RBs who are better.

As a Seahawk fan (2nd) I watch all his carries......He's top 5.......The argument (debate) is silly.

Just ask him one question when he drafts his fantasy football team...... Will Lynch be one of the top 5 RBs selected. He knows it. Discussion over.:suds:
