I don't have my top five figured out yet. But I'm going to try to figure out how to not have Cribbs or Hester in it. Not because they weren't GREAT at it. But because they were, and they're both not what they once were. I'd like to think there are enough athletes available to have some turnover at the top of this specialist category.

I'm gonna get baked and think about. Maybe even do some research. I'm not coming up with anything sober.

Wow, a 49ers fan who questions the placement of two Seahawks players? Shocker.

It's too soon to put Wilson in the top 5, imo, but Lynch is in there all day. This may shock your system, but anyone who isn't a 49ers fan would take Lynch over Gore all day every day...

I'd have to put Tyvon Branch, Earl Thomas and Ryan Clark in there over Ronnie Lott, what with that lingering pinky injury.

I definitely put Hester in there because of his career body of work. He had a down year last year for sure, and if he can't bounce back this year he'll drop out of my top 5 for sure. Cribbs, on the other hand, was still one of the best combined returners in the league last year. He averaged 12.0 yards per punt return and 27.4 per kick return. Very strong numbers still.

The other three I had were all based on "right now"- Reynaud and Jones each had 3 return TDs last year, and Peterson had 4 the year before...

Cobb was one of the first guys I thought of, but his return numbers took a dive last year once he assumed a full-time role on offense. Same scenario for Sproles- since he's been a big part of the offense for the Saints his return numbers have suffered. Holiday was basically 6th on my list, and right now is probably a better returner than Hester, so I couldn't really argue putting him in there instead...

Lol, I just can't stand current 49ers fans. When their team went from worst-to-first they became the cockiest bunch of ess oh bees in the league. Unfortunately I'm starting to see that with Seahawks fans now that their team is loaded, and that saddens me because I actually don't mind that team- they've historically been underdogs just like us. But why can't fans just be chill when they have a good team? Does winning make a fanbase turn into douche bags all of a sudden? Steelers fans have always seemed cool when I've interacted with them, and that team has been great forever. Colts fans were always cool during the Manning era when they had the best team in the league.

Must be a West Coast issue. San Fran makes sense, SoCal is the d-bag mecca (sorry FalconStud!), but Seattle is a pretty awesome place... so get your shit together and be winners with some class Hawks fans! Don't be like your sorry-ass division rival down the coast- nobody likes them or their coach with the self control of a 4 year old with ADD...

James Jones? :laugh3:

#Dez Bryant

James Jones led the league in TD's last year no? He's a fly under the radar guy but he gets it done, and with Jennings gone I like his chances again this year. I like Dex Bryant too though he's right there.

And hell ya I Stafford in my top 5. What is the criteria? He's my QB in my keeper and there aren't 5 others I'd trade him for. Brady, Rodgers, maybe Bress idk. I'd say he's a wash with RW. That's about it. Same reason RW is in my top 5. I'm looking to the future.
