I appreciate it, the hardest part for me is trying not to push the limits. 3 weeks ago I was playing indoor soccer and softball every week and now I'm relegated to not doing anything that could further damage my discs. Which is almost anything. Never been good at sitting out of anything. Oh well it will get better in time.

Losses like that are tough but they had opportunity to stake claim to a bigger lead a couple times and didn't execute. Well the good news is there is more baseball tomorrow

geez Bmurph, that really sucks.

Yup, always more baseball and that's typically.... good news

This just in general, but when will Scheppers be available? He was put on the 15 days DL list, I think. We need him in the bull pen like yesterday.

And I hate to do this to Ross but we could really use him in the pen as well unless we have someone we could call up to strengthen the pen.

That won't be happening until holland gets back.

McClendon can count his lucky stars for sticking with Rodney.

That's what I figured but we need to some additional arms that can come in. Seems last year Cotts would come in and blow people away. Lot more breaking stuff this year.

I think when people start getting healthy we might consider trading Kouz or even Moreland for relief or catching help... Although the way this season is going... we really need all the depth we can get. When Scheppers gets back he will likely go back to the pen though... that really should help tremendously.

Just read where the Rangers are keeping Nick Martinez up to pitch out of the BP.

How about calling up Luke Jackson and sending Ross to the pen?
How about letting Nick Martinez start till Holland comes back. Move Ross to the bull pen. That probably won't fly here or the FO but an idea.

I'm not on board with that either

I don't see Martinez as a part of our future rotation. Luke Jackson however....

Why not? Kid looks pretty good to me. In either case, neither of those ideas are good IMO.

I do think Jackson would be successful. However, you're right that Ross has earned it. I just hate our bullpen right now.

Jackson still has a lot of learning to do before he's big league ready. I think you have some pretty unrealistic expectations of young prospects in general.

The kid throws mid to upper 90's. The pitcher we face a last night has no big league experience and jumped from AA. He has nowhere near the stuff that Jackson has. His walks are down considerably also.
