I just don't think he's that great, at this point anyways. I would put him in the same category as Tepesch. Average ML pitchers, but where does Martinez fit? Next year will be Yu, Perez, Harry, and Holland. I guess he could battle for the 5 spot in ST next year, but I could see him being a part of a trade before I see him winning a spot in the rotation next year. Just my opinion though. Nothing but a prediction.
To me, it would be great to have Tepesch, Martinez, Ross, etc competing in ST for a spot next season. After all, we'll need 8-10 different starters before the season is over, if history proves itself right.

I agree. Probably add Lewis to that mix as well.
The Astros are up by 1. Let's see if they can close this one out.
That's true. You can never have too many pitchers, and who knows how much he'll progress in a year, but right now I like Ross, Colby, and Tepesch more than I like him. Maybe I need to see more of him, but I haven't been that impressed. He needs to work on his control some while in the minors. He doesn't have overwhelming stuff so he'll need to command the zone.
Has anybody heard when Choo will be back?

I doubt he really knows why.How about somebody ask wash why he only tried letting Beltre hit third one game?
He'd sure be a nice option to have in AAA polishing his game if the injury big hits us again next year.
