Your team's 2019 schedule

We play Florida State in Jacksonville, Marshall, Portland State and BYU non-conference

This year Hawai'i, San Jose State and UNLV are the cross-division foes

I'd say it's the easiest schedule we've had in years

We got Bama, Georgia and the Taters. All top 5 programs. Not to mention A&M, the Gators and leading off the season at neutral site against UNC. Name a tougher schedule in 2019.

Iowa State plays Northern Iowa (FCS), Iowa (B1G) and ULM (Sun Belt) OOC + the other 9 Big Xii teams. This will be the first time in 30 something years, ISU has not played an OOC road game. Not sure why. Just fell that way.

I did mention AP State later in the thread. Charleston Southern is our stipulated by state government game against a smaller in state school.

Too be fair, I think App State has earned the distinction of not being a G5 cupcake. Won 11, 10, 9 and 11 games the last 4 seasons. They've taken Tennessee(they finished ranked) and Penn State to overtime, and they were shutting out UGA last year until Fromm took over for an injured Jacob Eason.

Yup, crap ton of P5 programs don't have the balls to schedule Appy State

They tend to bring it against P5 teams. Might not beat em, but they give em all they can handle.

They were like North Dakota State for a while as an FCS team too. Solid program.

Those are probably the 3 toughest, but Stanford may not be top 25, and then it's two games against a top 5 and top 15 team. Then a huge dropoff. Comparing it to good schedules, ND appears to have it easy.

I agree. Now, that ISU is better and much of the Big Xii is in decline, the Cyclones no longer have a top 10 SOS.
