I'd like our chances with Jack Sears.
My instinct was, “wait we would direct snap to a running back,” then I thought about our RBs and I got really sad.It might actually improve if you just snap to a WR the whole time.
I think we might go 6-6. Backup probably knows quite a bit of the playbook though, so maybe some hope there.
Guess I should have read my texts this morning before posting. lol. JT Daniels was named the starter. So What happens if he goes down? Good chance we get a bit better.
Not if fields goes down. If Fields goes down game one (lets say), what teams left on the schedule would OSU be better at, at the QB position? Miami Ohio and Rutgers?
The last time it happened to the Buckeyes they won the Big 10 and National Championship. You're underselling that. You'd be starting a backup grad transfer QB from the University of Kentucky who has 13 in game pass attempts to his name. OSU would be in some serious trouble.
IMO we could still win 10-11 games with Chase Brice. I doubt we would be as explosive in the passing game but it would result in Etienne and Dixon getting more carries so that could be a wash.
What was the bet.I don’t know. But I’d lose the starting quarterback bet I have with @AlaskaGuy , and that would suck.
well, tech can always fall back"Yeah, losing my starting QB won't affect us at all"
Lots of dreamers in here.
3 months. You win if Haener starts, I win if he doesn’t.What was the bet.
Why in the fvck did I say 3 months. =/3 months. You win if Haener starts, I win if he doesn’t.
I’d be willing to call it a draw if they both get equal time against Eastern, since that seems like something that could be on the table. But you’re call if you want to stick to whoever starts the game.
