As far as Cousins.. I'd rather have Okafor if I was you all. He's going to be a beast. He'll be stronger and better in the post than Anthony Davis, but not as good outside the paint as Davis. At least not yet.

Second, for the record, I'm not hell bent for leather on getting Cousins. I'm of the mindset that with a talent like Cousins, if he can be obtained, you do you due diligence. If it isn't enough, than you move on and draft Okafor, who I'm 100% on board with.

Nothing has really come out of the Lakers camp other than they're trying to get Cousins. Of course rumours are going to come up seeing as the pick, Randle and Clarkson are our only real assets.

I like Boogie. I would only trade for him if it doesn't include Randle and Clarkson. Picks and throw in Hill to match salaries. The Lakers need help at a lot of positions. Can't be depleting what they have for one player. The Lakers aren't in a desperate position.

trade Randle straight up for Cousins - would you rather have Cousins over Randle?

and then just consider the draft picks a straight trade - after getting Cousins is there that much of a drop off from 2 to 6 for what the Lakers would be looking for?

That's all well and good, if the trade is #2 and Randle for Cousins and #6. I doubt it is. Sacramento is going to want at least the #2 and Randle for Cousins alone.

I doubt anything gets done. The hatred between the Kings and Lakers is too strong to get a trade done that is favorable to the Lakers (or even, for that matter).

This deal is dead. Orlando already has left and is not returning. WE are moving on to work with Philadelphia but that is dying quickly as well with news that Minnesota may take Okafor because the HC likes him.
