Don't get it twisted just because you like his politics. Coach was doing an awful job. Alienated his fan base and team, recruiting was tanked beyond belief, and had become a vocal distraction for the university. He's lucky he lasted as long as he did.

The fact that you are 100% wrong? An awful job, two touchdown lead in every game he in coached except 1. Definitely didn’t alienate his team. The alumni were more pissed off he pissed away the Oregon and Utah State game than he follow the orders of a Governor that isn’t too popular. And a distraction for whom, wasn’t his team that is in control of the Pac 12 North? Trying to figure out your angle here unless you got the pulse of Washington State more than I do.
