So kind of in the spirit of the holiday season, I figured I would have a thread to just acknowledge our teams' nominees for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year. Not to brag about our guy or tell us who should get the award or anything competitive. Just to tell us a little about your teams nominee and maybe post a tweet or a story about him if you like. My teams nominee this year is Bobby Wagner. A guy that is on a HOF career track but fir all intents and purposes, is a humble man who readily gives his time and sets a strong example of leadership and strength to his team mates and to people in the community. A class act on and off the field.

I agree. Cam may be washed up as a QB, who knows and he may be really wierd in his wardrobe choices but the guy does great work in the community and is a positive role model to kids.

I did not know that. Cam kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson....minus the pedophilia. Cam doesn't come of as creepy like that.

That's kind of the reason I started this thread because I see a lot of people don't pay much attention to the good things that these players do. The negative stuff seems to be all that people care to talk about.

ha yeah hes an odd dude, but hes extremely extremely caring and giving.

Yeah, from the moment he came in, he has been doing great things off the field. I can dislike the dude on the field but I have to respect and admire him for his off field work.
