I think he would have been a good pro but that injury robbed him of his career.

He wasn't going to be a star, but he was a mauler. He'd have had 5 to 6 solid years for somebody making bank. Gets on the right team, he'd have been a fan favorite.

I respect the guy because he had true heart. He wanted to play. He wanted to win. There was never anything fake about Lattimore.

Who gives a shit about him? He's leaving, the rest of the team doesn't care. The coaches care because they get that extra 14 practices or whatever the number is. Those 5-7 teams that make a bowl game just to get blown out are fuckin ecstatic even if 25% of their starters are hurt

Willis McGahee played 10 years in the NFL, rushed for over 8,400 yards and had 1,300 receiving yrs. If Fournette is half that good, he will have a solid career. The Lions made a mistake.

Lattimore is a great comparison, players had a hard time tackling him at that level too so.... they started going as low as possible and boom, bye bye knee, career over. I've seen players doing the same thing with LF because he is such a bull to try and bring down.

If he was seriously focused on the draft he would realized this "not playing" will be talked about through out the draft process and teams will question his decision for not playing
