What a POS he is. Hope LSU fans burn his jersey.

what I don't like is if this starts some kind of precedent.........
Yeah I think the whole team should boycott the game and sit out.

that's fucking great. brilliant. What if all the kids with NFL talent decided to do the same thing and sit out the bowl games?????? wow, what a great bowl season we'd have. :L:tsk:

How selfish of them that would be. "Fuck you losers. You will risk millions for my entertainment and like it!"

A lot of them do just that. There's nothing on the line to win in that game......whereas his entire playing future is on the line if he gets injured.

Simply no point here for him, this is a fairly easy risk to reward business decision. YOUR enjoyment of a game is simply not HIS problem.

Once in the NFL he might elect to sit out the Superbowl because it's his contract year. No need to injure himself in a game which could cost him $$$$$ for the future.

He could be a non-factor in the NFL anyway w his injury issues, but you never know

That wouldn't happen and you know it. This is no different than a coach who is taking a different job leaving before the bowl game when his team isn't in the playoffs but staying to finish it out when his team is.

Actually I take that back. It is different. The player has more to lose

Though I'm a bit pissed myself, I think us fans are just being selfish. Much like Fournette is making a selfish decision.

So go figure....humans are selfish.

The guy has an obligation to his future to sit this game out.

Hate players like this. I hope this hurts his draft stock. Big time "I" guy. School helps you become the player you are today and u say F u to your players and school. THis is the 2nd player that announced this that is suppose to go in the 1st rd. Feel bad for what ever team picks him in the draft he is a quitter.

This is just stupid.

A superbowl is the highest title he can win. What's he going to win in some random bowl game? What is he giving up? N O T H I N G

So then what's the point of college football? They don't get paid for a bowl game, a rivalry game, any game. What's a player going to win in some rivalry game?

 College football bowls are all about cash. And you want a top 10 NFL pick not to think about HIS cash over a meaningless bowl?

When I start seeing outraged threads about coaches leaving before a bowl game for a new job I might start taking all you outraged about a player doing it more seriously

If you want the entire college season to mean something, make agents not be able to talk with players until after the new year or bowl season. Have schools share some cash with players? Like a bonus?

Because he is sitting out the Buffalo Wild Wings citrus bowl it wouldn't shock you if he sat out the Super Bowl?! That's like saying it wouldn't shock you to see someone commit murder bc you watched them kill an ant

on a contract year. Why not. He is showing money is more important then winning/team. U never know with some of these kids. Its a different day.

If you have a big game in the Super Bowl you just made your contract grow exponentially (see Joe Flacco). If you a big game in the Citrus Bowl no one gives a damn come contract time.

Same can be said about the bowl game and for your school.

Pretty sure ALL of these schools show that it's all about money. But when 1 top 10 pick that's played hurt alot this year against 8 in the box with a shitty QB and has nothing left to show scouts decides to be "all about cash" he's out of his mind..

The Citrus bowl :violin: You think LSU fans give a fuck about the Citrus bowl?
