what is a deal that you would be down with?

Rank these ( i have a feeling what will come in last)

1. Robert Covington, #10 pick, Fultz (and cap filler if needed)

2. Kyrie Irving, a first round pick or two

3. Brandon Ingram, Kuzma and Deng and say a first roudn pick or two in the future

4. Kevin Love, Rodney Hood, #8 pick

Stop trying to get the cavs involved in this... :L

Philly, Boston, Lakers, Cavs.

If Boston added Brown, they'd be far and away the top choice.

Hood is fools gold and #8 won't be anything special.

Playing Love and Aldridge together seems like a unathletic disaster.

So, @DJ, @shopson67, @Shaqdaddy11 .....

Let's see if you change your tune about trading the Kiddie Corps now that LeBron, Kawhi and George are a legit possibility.

I would trade every last single one of them....lol

That trio would kill Houston.

If you got some good vets like Crawford, Thad Young etc....

The Warriors would be in fucking trouble.

Again, I love you.

How does it make sense for the Celtics, other than dodging a potential Kyrie exit? It creates an even bigger logjam at the wings, plus I don't believe Kyrie is close to enough for Kawhi (unless Kawhi never gets completely healthy).

This.

They'd have

Leonard, Tatum, Brown, and Heyward.

I love twitter, the stupidity of people. "The Spurs would take Kuzma straight up for Leonard."

Hopefully, we could keep Kuzma and we'd have a nice 4-some to piece around.

Of course, that changes everything. Trading for Kawhi is the opposite end of the spectrum from a mere salary dump.

Here to admit I was wrong the entire time. Tried giving Kawhi the benefit of the doubt and I was wrong. Time for us to move on. Into mediocrity we go. Spurs fan till I die.

Lmfao...

There is zero chance they take Deng.

ZERO.

There going to take the best deal.

Want more than just Kyrie in that Boston deal though.

Too many question marks with Kyrie. Is he the best guy you could get in a deal, yes but what if he has a career ending injury. One or two more to his knees and it’s over. Not really sure how Heyward and Kawhi works out anyway unless one plays PG lol

I would take 3. Ingram and Kuzma plus some picks.

I dont want Covington or Fults. More question marks on Fultz’s potential.

But if they were somehow going to include Brown in the Kyrie deal I would do it in a heartbeat.

Dude, you missed the biggest elephant.

DENG.

The Celtics, Philly can give them Players and Picks without the albatross of a contract attached.

Allegedly, he's interested in the Knicks too.

Isn't that the spot Kyrie is trying to go as well?

Wasn't the Spurs on his destination list before he landed with the Celtics?

The Hawks are takkng Deng for picks no need to include him lol

Leonard, Tatum, Brown, and Heyward.

That is a nice problem to have. A surplus of long, athletic 2 way wings. In today's NBA, you can never have too many wings.

I've only personally seen one so it's almost like the others didn't count!

And 4 years ago today, Kawhi was named Finals MVP.

I HATE EVERYTHING

The biggest issue for the Spurs at this time is no one knows the status of Leonard's injury.

A quad injury that kept him out basically a full season is a real concern.

Yes, he WAS a DPOY and finals MVP

Can he be that same guy again? Quad injuries tend to be a reoccurring issue, not a one-time fluke injury.

Teams like the Lakers that make offers that strip their young core plus pick to acquire him are taking a HUGE gamble.

If he can still be the same player he was, it's a no-brainer. But at this point, nobody knows if he will or won't be and if that quad is going to be a reoccurring problem.

If I'm the Lakers, or any other team, I am underbidding and not gutting my team in the hopes he regains his form and can stay relatively injury free.

Better to let the young guys continue to develop than to swing for the fences and miss so bad it sets your team back another 5 years

If only one of those teams had a head coach and an assistant head coach with Spurs connections in the East....
