Replacing one of the top QBs is pretty much impossible. Once Carr went down, the Raiders hopes to go far were over. I'm not in the majority - a key loss, especially to a Pro Bowl QB, is an acceptable excuse.
Most teams are screwed the moment they lose their starting QB and some more than others. Like the Raiders: Carr was a big part of why that offense worked. But with as many drops as wide open WRs made in that game it was far more than just Carr's absence that was felt. That's big but the other players have to pick up the slack and they didn't. Can't name that completely on missing the QB.
