I'm going to be absolutely heartbroken if Kimmo doesn't play tomorrow. I've been getting really excited

Waiving him does nothing - he's cheap and helps with the cap the rest of the season - they have to trade one of the bigger guys

just clears the roster spot for Timonen to come off LTIR. definitely not a long term solution, but it would allow timonen to play tomorrow.

For the last week it has been reported that CC would be waived to make room for Kimmo. If one of the bigger guys isn't moved by tomorrow or CC waived then Kimmo cannot play. I would rather have Kimmo than a cap friendly CC.

I just saw that it's Coburns birthday today. Maybe Hexy is waiting until tomorrow to tell him he has been traded!

Several teams like Grossmann and Coburn....and the Blues have been scouting the Flyers pretty frequently for the last several weeks. Not really sure who/what the Blues are shopping for...but that is another possible log on the fire.

I would think the Blues want a guy like Braydon Coburn, who can skate like Kevin Shattenkirk, but they also might want some more toughness on the blueline too

Heck, Calgary is aggressive and if somehow, we could get their first round pick for Mark Streit(I doubt it though), I would do that right now

Emery as a 3rd/emergency goalie for the playoffs would be okay for some team. For a team that is out of it and just needs to stay at the cap floor...also not bad. He has become a good locker room guy. Physically I just think he is done...but he could surprise.
.....I just don't see this one happening....but it is as good a rumor as any
