Marty Mornhinweg probably was passed out drunk on the sideline and I think Charlie Batch was hurt as usual...

A lot of people here seem to be picking first round busts who never lived up to their potential. The real worst QB's ever are the backups who come in for a few games due to injury, play unbelievably bad, and never see the field again in their career.

Leaf is regarded as the biggest bust because of being the 2nd overall pick. But definitely not the worst QB who's ever laced em' up.

its the "worst qb you personally have seen play" I thought

worst qb ever is a whole different meaning.

I'm surprised nobody on here has put Rex Grossman out there. I don't think he is the worst Ive seen, just surprised that some people aren't mentioning him. Worst QB is so hard because when you see someone that bad, they are usually gone fast and forgotten almost as fast. That kid that started for Indy when Peyton came out a couple years ago maybe. What was his name?

Or Barry. Or if Barry had and OL.

Barry had a way better offense around him than Walter ever did... It's not even close really...

I don't know man. Rodney Pete, Scott Mitchell & Charlie Batch VS Bob Avellini & Jim McMahon? Plus the Bears had good offensive lines in the '80's. I think Chicago was a much better place to play RB, and I don't think THAT is even close.

Nothing against Sweetness though.

Do me a favor, go look at the QB and WR stats on the teams Walter played on and get back to me... I think you'll find it's a slam dunk that Barry played with better players on the offensive side of the ball...

Dan Orlovski, worst QB I ever paid money to watch get paid money to play. If you're talking about Barry being The GOAT, you're right. If you're not, you're Nos, and you're just bitter. (APs okay, I guess)

Jim Sorgi, Dan Orlovski or Curtis Painter. (I think you mean Sorgi)I never saw Sorgi in the NFL. But he was a solid starter in college.

You know I love ya smitty but Barry isn't even top 5... He made you say WOW more than any player maybe ever but as I have said many times, imagine playing the Packers in the NFC Championship game at Lambeau it's -10 is Barry the back you want that day? Not a freakin' chance!

First off Lions in the NFC championship in GB I don't care who our RBs are I am gonna be dancing a jig.:yahoo:
IMO the 5 best RBs are Brown, Sanders, Sayers, Payton, and Peterson

IMO the worst QBs I remember are Lions.......Jeff Komlo other teams........Dan McGwire

It would have to be pretty bad to be worse than Pete, Mitchell & Batch. That's atrocious.

And I remember those O-lines the Bears had in the 80's, and they were a TON better than those craptastic Lions' O-lines. The Lions completely neglected the OL. The only first-round pick they ever used on an OL during Barry's tenure was Jeff Hartings, and they were only teammates 4 years. I think the highest pick they ever used on a tackle was 2nd-rounder Juan freekin' Roque, and he was a bust.

There was Aaron Gibson AKA the blob for 1999 only, but he was a bust too.

Barry's the back I want everyday Nos. (I may be biased). And I'm ashamed of myself that I forgot Detmer. But.... In my defense, I'm a Lions fan, lots of bad QBs to think about. (Stafford is going to set the franchise record for CAREER passing yards, this year. He's 25!) Plus, it's hard for me to imagine playing anyone in the NFC Championship. We've won ONE playoff game in my lifetime.

Rodney Peete was good. But Scott Mitchell is actually a woman. A tall ugly one whom nobody respects. I hate Charlie Batch! Got a long deal.... Barry quit playing football. Coincidence?

Gibson and Barry were never teammates.
