Signing him and Hader would be my ideal scenario now that I think about it. What about those two signings plus a splash trade for Bednar?

The Pirates need pitching, a 1B and an outfielder. Would they take either Lowe by himself, or Taveras and Gray for Bednar, and maybe another lesser player?

I think he is referring to guys from a group that includes Huff, Foscue amd Crim.

Huff, Foscue, Crim, and Duran. Might even consider Langford a legitimate DH option should the FO decide to slow-walk it with him.

Great question. If Lowe by himself or Gray/Taveras was enough that's a slam dunk trade.

If Huff is DH then another catcher may be necessary. No to Duran. Foscue or Crim is worth a try.
