I just realized Prospects 1500 does not have Blaine Crim in their top 50 Rangers prospects.
Hopefully he sticks and is no longer a prospect
I think Corneil might be underrated

Where do you rank Corniell among our starting pitcher prospects?

Where would you rank him among Leiter, Porter, Rocker, Stephan, White, Winn, Bratt, Curry and Kent?

Torn as 2 or 3 depending upon Leiter who has a higher ceiling

Not at super educated opinion - sort of assessing without lots of watching the player.
I have watched Leiter so for me to be strong I would have to see him more

We have a lot of pitching talent in our top 20 prospects. Corniell, the nine I mentioned and Acker give us a lot to look forward to. I am not sure if any of them will be an ace, but we could very easily get a #2 through #5 from that group, with some to spare. I wouldn't be shocked if one of them turned into an ace, but that is a little hard to determine at this point.

I think we already have at least a legitimate #3 and #4 in Dunning and Bradford.

Sure not excited about the pitching. Especially the bullpen.

In looking over what we have in the minors, I believe we could see some of the following guys in the big league bullpen at some point.

Antoine Kelly
Grant Anderson
Anthony Hoopii-Tuioneyoa
Marc Church
Emiliano Teodo
Kyle Cody
Tyler Zombro

Also, don't count out a few of our minor league starters like White, Kent and Leiter possibly making an appearance in the pen at some point in 2024.

I have been a little disappointed about the off season as most of you but I got to thinking that we have a solid starting lineup, decent starting pitching that I hope is above average and very well could be and some decent relief pitching that may be short on depth. If we can stay in the hunt in the 1st half I believe we will return to the playoffs and once in the playoffs our starting and relief pitching will be dominant with the BP being bolstered with starters once again being moved to the pen.

It looks like it is going to have to work out that way. I just hope when a young reliever or starter is needed in the first half, that are are at least decent.

I also really hope Grossman signs somewhere else, soon.

I was thinking who goes to the bullpen when the injured pitchers come back.

Teams just don’t give up and trade guys before July. They need to bring in Monty to make sure we stay relevant until the trade deadline. I bet they’re going to try and use the deadline again to refuel for another post season run.

Yeah, I meant needing one internally.
