So....should we get started?
My head agrees with you. That’s a great baseball team. Heard a crazy stat the other day. 99.3% of the team’s innings pitched were by pitchers who had a sub 4.00 ERA. In the modern game, that’s astounding.I'll go with the obligatory Astros in 6. But I'm fine with either team winning.
Bob Gibson would have hit him in batting practice.Haha! Get a load of this fucking guy. He has no idea what awaits him in Game 3. He’s gonna catch hate like he’s never experienced before. If he’s smart, he tells his family not to travel. People care way too much about sports up here in civilization.
That's surprising that they don't have any lefty relievers. That bodes well for Schwarber, who has an .884 lifetime OPS against righties. That's a good way to lead off a game.Phil’s making changes already. They’re giving the ball to Nola in Game 1 and Wheeler in Game 2 instead of the other way around. Last time out, Nola imploded in a bad inning in San Diego. I like this because it’s the staff telling Nola they still believe in him. Last time Nola pitched in Houston the Phil’s clinched their playoff berth and Nola took a perfect game into the 6th or 7th inning.
Thompson also messed with the batting order. The Astors only have one lefty on their staff and he’s a starter so Thompson isn’t as concerned about breaking up Schwarber and Harper. Harper gets moved from 4 to 3. This is solid on two levels. You guarantee a first inning AB for Harper and Realmuto is better plate protection for him than Castellanos. Here’s the projected lineup:
1. LF Schwarber
2. 1B Hoskins
3. DH Harper
4. C Realmuto
5. RF Castellanos
6. 3B Bohm
7. SS Stott
8. 2B Segura
9. CF Marsh
Personally, I would flip Castellanos and Bohm. I think that 5 hole will generate RBI spots and I trust Bohm more than Castellanos to put the ball in play and make something happen.
Phil’s are definitely an under dog. The Astros are a great team.

This bandwagon is wide open, brother. Welcome aboard.

Dude is on a run. I would be shocked if the Astros pitch to him.Been rooting for your Phillies since my team (who didn't have a shot at winning it all anyway) was eliminated.
Like I mentioned before I like watching Bryce Harper. Been following his career since before he got to the majors. His lone year in junior college I went to some of his games.

Except they won one in 2017If the Phil’s wanna mess around and win this thing, they have to put pressure on the Astros early in the series and just let those seeds of doubt bloom. Astros are a threat to be the MLB’s version of the Jim Kelly Buffalo Bills.
Right. The year they got caught cheating.Except they won one in 2017
Bills didn't even get that.Right. The year they got caught cheating.
