With the moves the past 2 days where do you have Atlanta in the NFC?

Falcons have added Matthew Judon and Justin Simmons to a D that was much improved last year ( finished 11th in the NFL )

On top of the big addition this offseason of Kirk Cousins to bolster the pass attack with an already quality run game

OLine, by most rankings, is a top 5-6 line, weapons on the outside include Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Darnell Mooney

Before the recent moves Atl was the prohibitive favorite to win the South ( -160 favorites )

Given the recent moves where do you see Atl finishing this season in the NFC?

I think you could make a case for

SF
Philly
Det

And maybe

GB

As being better with a fair level of confidence

After that id have Atl with LA at 5 or 6

But Atls schedule is also easy enough that they could realistically win 12ish games and get a much higher seed than you'd expect

A lot depends on the health of Kirk Cousins but with their additions they could end up the #1 seed.

The schedule is pretty easy and the NFC is wide open.

The changeover in fortunes from year to year in the NFL is often crazy, but right now it looks to me like the Falcons are the team to beat in the NFCS.

I think we are definitely the best team in the NFC South, and are possibly the 3rd best team in the NFC - I would place the Niners and Lions ahead of us - after that there are a lot of teams that look about equal, I would place us on par with the Packers, Eagles and Cowboys. We now have a pretty complete team and the NFC is wide open.

If you guys get good QB play. You guys could be dangerous.

Judon and Simmons are two serious pick ups from Falcons this week. Interesting to see what they will be

I would also put Dallas, Seattle and Chicago ahead of Atlanta

Chicago, really? Having a rookie QB is always a big unknown, the Bears could be strong but they could be shaky as well. I wouldn’t put them ahead of the Falcons.

Looks more like the new 'dream team' to me.

That wasn't a knock on the Falcons. I think they are coming. I think their time to shine will be in a couple of years when Penix is ready to roll I really like him

On paper, 3rd. Cousins was on pace for a careerish type of year last year. I'm not sure this is a Russell Wilson switching teams scenario.
