I can watch a team I rooted for that loses a game and the moment after I'll be disappointed in the outcome but if you dwell on it for more than a couple minutes and it affects your emotions you are still an emotional and intellectual child.

sports is reality tv entertainment and players play for more than one team in their career for money and personal satisfaction as do coaches.

sports isn't a gang war, Its entertainment, nothing more.

But winning the Superbowl by totally dominating and thrashing the other team is priceless! After watching the hawks for over 30 years it is still hard to believe it finally happened. All season I was expecting the old Seahawks to show up and find new ways to lose.

We got a parade today, some of my kids are off work and going. So me and missy are babysitting my grandaughter.

Here is the deal with very young babies. They are curious, their little minds are starving for information. Anything will get their attention. When she cries, it is not hunger, it is not her diaper, and she is not a Denver fan, she is just bored. Pick her up and give her a tour of her surroundings. Let her see everything. This works very well cause babies just want to see and be a part of whatever is happening.

It was Midnightangel who said that and she is Steelers fan who has a hard on for Seattle and our fans. I'm surprised she hasn't said the same thing about this thread too. But Seattle just won the Super Bowl so excuse us if we take over the NFL board for a few days following it. I mean there are so many more compelling things to talk about now that the season is over right? (that was sarcasm)

How is there any hypocrisy here? A Steelers fan tried to (once again) tell everyone what to do and we told her to fuck off and suggested the guy who made that thread might want to chill out after he faced some backlash, not just over his making that thread on a hype video, but also just his overall tone.

And to defend angel for a moment, there is a difference between putting up a thread about a team hype video which is likely ONLY interesting to fans of that team, and posting a thread about an event that happened in Seattle for the first time ever that just might have a couple of people outside of Seattle interested in it.

He was specifically talking about a post that had a hype video for the Seahawks on it. I'm fairly sure that no one outside of a Seahawks fan cares about a team hype vid for our guys. Hell, I didn't watch it and don't generally watch hype vids as it is. Just not my thing. Still, a Steelers fan told him it didn't belong and this guy says it was one of our fans telling their own not to put it there. Then he calls us a hypocrite for making posts about Seattle related things. I know I created one for our parade, but I won't apologize for doing so. I'm sure some fan not of the Seahawks probably found it interesting to see a city pop its major championship cherry and see how they celebrated it. Besides, if you can't put Seahawk things up on the general board after the season is dead and you just won the SB, then when can you? The champs aught to have their day in the sun. Or maybe in this case at least the rest of the week before people start whining.
