baseball Injury involving a shoulder/elbow sounds like doom and gloom to baseball fans. Least to me. I would be concerned. Not defcon 1 necessarily, but it’s not good.

I think the SB hangover is the teams that lose often miss the playoffs the next year. The winning team may not make it back to the bowl but they usually at least make the playoffs I believe. Without looking at recent numbers to see if 5hat still holds true, but used to be the case.

^This. It's kinda sad that injuries often dictate the success or lack thereof with respect to a team's fortune each season. It applies to all pro team sports, but much more pronounced in the NFL. That said, if the Rams stay relatively injury blessed, they should easily return to the postseason. A lot of talent on that roster, as well as a disciplined coaching staff.

If Stafford gets hurt, we still could make the playoffs being in the weaker conference, with coaching and our defense. Of course we probably make a quick exit. AD and Stafford gets hurt, definitely no playoffs.

The NFC is pretty weak right now. I have a hard time seeing it happening. This Rams team would probably make it with Goff even, imo. Their main competition in the NFC West is a team hoping Lance is competent.
