I think these are reasonable expectations. A 250 or 500, yes.

A Masters 1000 or a major, there's a chance, but I am not certain of it.

I think Fed is done for good and he should hang up now and preserve his body for future endeavors outside of playing tennis. He is still in top ten. I expect him to appear at the USO to make the announcement or just do it from home. End of a significant era.

OP has tried making these threads for all the aging stars in the game and it is always the same thing.

if he is still enjoying going out there, he should keep playing. Just like Venus, Serena, etc.

Sometimes athletes play not necessarily to win titles, but so that their kids can remember them playing.

Plus there's the aspect of both traveling to different places with the family, and playing tennis there too. Playing tennis in these places, and having some family memories there, are also fun.

For Venus, seems like she likes to keep things interesting with different mixed double partners every now and then. That seems fun for her.

This wasn't possible before she'd play deep into tourneys in singles and doubles with Serena, but now she can have fun via mixed doubles too.
