Because the Knicks are stupid. AD doesn't want to play C. Randle doesn't want to play C or come off the bench. If AD had chosen the Knicks, that situation would've blown up. After the season ended that same year, he refused to extend with the Sixers and joined the Bucks on a 3/21M contract...
