The Bucks are now projected to end the regular season with a 64-18 record (5 wins ahead of the 2nd best record) from the expert reporters team of the ESPN...

ESPN's NBA BPI Playoff Odds

They also have the best streak at 11-0 (and keeps rising), by far the best offense, a 6-1 record against western teams (and having played and beaten most of the "contenders" there away from home) and the best differential in the league...

MO is that if the Bucks can trade for Bogdanovic (in order to replace and even improve from losing Brogdon) and a capable big SF/PF combo forward coming from bench (Jabari back? - he recently expressed the desire), not only the Bucks will be capable to achieve a historic 70 wins season this year, but bare injuries, they will have the title "pocketed".

You do realize that nobody is arguing your idea of trading for Bogdanovic, right?

Yes, but I also realize that you (against all the world as the expert reporters express it on web) are arguing on the importance of the move...

I also realize that you started arguing by stating:

"His entire post is based on a severe flaw:"

and changed position just after you you realized that you goofed (again)...

Not at all what I said. Not at all what happened.

The possibility of the Bucks being after Bogdanovic, which I've spotted and already posted during the preseason on another forum, has also been spotted by the majority of sports reporters and is now highly circulating around the web:

Bucks Rumors: Bogdan Bogdanovic Could Be ‘Best Option’ To Replace Malcolm Brogdon, Per ‘The Ringer’

Would run at Bogdan Bogdanovic fill Malcolm Brogdon void for Milwaukee Bucks?

NBA Rumors: Sacramento's Bogdan Bogdanovic Likely Candidate For Milwaukee As Middleton To Miss Games

NBA Rumors: Bucks Could Trade For Bogdan Bogdanovic

The trade, in which the Bucks have little (if any at all) competition, if happens, should secure the Bucks as being considered the favorites to win the NBA championship for this and the following seasons since the Bucks would then have a dreadful starting roster on Bledsoe (PG), Bogdanovic (SG), Middleton (SF), Giannis (PF) and BroLopez (CF), but amazing roster depth too on Hill, Divincenzo, Brown, Connaughton, Wilson and Rolopez secured for many seasons to follow...

The point I was arguing is your assumption that the Bucks would have “little if any competition”.

Bogdan is an RFA. You were wrong and it led you to a poor conclusion.

The Bucks May very well land Bogdan. But there will be other teams trying to do the same.

Be careful and read the replies you get... You never do! It's both annoying and makes you look like an idiot...

All this has been answered before... here it is again...

"Bogdan being 27, means that this is his chance to join a contending for the title team... If he signs a four year contract with a team that is going nowhere now, he'll never have this chance again..."

You do understand that no mediocre team will pay (expensive) for a player that may not resign and stay for next season, don't you?

Out of the contending teams that would interest Bogdan, only the Bucks have the assets and can create the cap space to do the trade.

It is exactly what the reporters have spotted and the reason why the rumor is spreading so widely around the web from so many different sources.

You do understand what a restricted free agent is, right?

Mediocre teams can trade for him and then they can resign him. Because he is an RFA. And mediocre teams overplay average players every single year. It is a big reason why they end up being mediocre.

Bogdanovic might well end up on the Bucks. But there will be a market for him with multiple teams potentially showing interest.

Carry on though.

No team signs a (restricted or unrestricted) free agent player that doesn't want to play there... It's the manager's role to inform them on the matter...

That is true.

But, the team who trades for the RFA player can match any offer sheet from another team.

In other words, if that team wants to keep him they can. Whether he wants to play or not.

That is unless he leaves tens of millions on the table by signing the 1 year QO, which almost never happens.

Can happen, but never happens... No GM pays to sign a player who doesn't want to play for his team, nor any GM will refuse to trade a player who demands out of the roster...

In the Bogdanovic case, both are happening... Bogdan wants out because he isn't starting (no other reason) and he wants to go on a contending for the title team because he is at the age where he won't get the chance four seasons later... He knows that wherever he ends, he'll get more than 4/70M, therefore he prefers to be on a contending team...

Players making clear (through their agent) what their preffered destination is, is the reason why no two teams ever submit an offer to a restricted FA... It's only the team that knows it is the player's desired destination that submits an offer...

Wrong.

His preference is irrelevant because he is an RFA.

And your belief that Bogdanovic would only want to play for the Bucks is delusional at best.

When did I say that "Bogdan would only wantto play for the Bucks" idiot?

Stop inventing things out of your sick mind and put them in other people's mouth, it makes you look like a jerk!

What I've said is that out of the contending teams (where he would like to be) only the Bucks can make a reliable offer to the Kings and get him after this past preseason spending.
